Liam

I have been doing some challenges at one of my favourite digital scrapbook sites (http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/) and this time did a page of my youngest grandson, Liam. He is such a darling little boy and growing by leaps and bounds.

Digital Scrapbooking cont...

I have also done some pages of my youngest granddaughter, Isabella. Dannielle, at 18, is my oldest daughter Lee-Anne's oldest child. She has two brothers, Cameron 17 & Joshua 11. My younger daughter, Corrinna has a 2yo daughter, Isabella, and a brand new baby boy, Liam (2mths).

Dannielle was so happy when Isabella was born. To have a girl cousin was as good as having a sister.

Digital Scrapbooking

One of my passions is Photography so I have heaps of photos on my hard drive (and various other external drives as I am paranoid about backups). My aim is to do digital scrapbooks, slide shows etc for my grandchildren to have so they can have a record of themselves growing up. I am currently learning Photoshop and have done a few pages of my granddaughters.

Dannielle is my oldest grandchild and I love her dearly as I do all my grandchildren.

I did this layout last year. It is such a natural shot of her as she walks around the lake near her home.

I also found some pages I did years ago using PhotoImpact. I sill like these simple pages but the craft has changed a lot since then.

Following the family trend.

First my daughter starts a blog and now my gorgeous granddaughter has her blog going. Since I'm currently convalescing after a shoulder operation and about the only thing I can do is to sit watching tv with my netbook on my lap, Lee-Anne, aforementioned daughter, suggested I started my own blog. So here I am, typing with one hand, (thankfully it wasn't my right shoulder) trying to put pen to paper (metaphorically speaking).

The most difficult part was to find a blog name. Something catchy? Easy to remember? Descriptive? Reflective? Tried this and that, nothing fit! So in the end I decided to use one of the business names I took out last year when I retired from full time work. Dannisa is made up using my two darling grandaughters names, Dannielle & Isabella. Dannisa Designs is the business I use to develop my Photography and Photoshop skills. Eventually I want to produce digital scrapbooking kits and also digital scrap pages which will be posted on this site. Meanwhile I'll just ramble on here and see what develops.
